Fee for Hydrographic Survey fixed by government as per G.O (Ms) No. 42/04/F&PD dated, 22-11-2004 as follows:

Charges for Hydrographic Survey at sea including triangulation, Coast lining, Sounding Operation and Chart preparation with Survey Vessel with full team and equipment - Rs. 35,000/- per day.

Charges for Hydrographic Survey at Inland Water bodies including triangulation, Coast lining, Sounding Operation and chart preparation using small boat with full team and equipments - Rs. 10,000/- per day.

For conducting Hydrographic Survey for Private Companies and individuals on the above specification –a centage charge of 20% extra will be charged over above the rate for Sea and Inland Water bodies.

The line departments will also pay the amount at the above rate for Hydrographic Survey with 20% reduction.

Charges for issuing one copy of Hydrographic Chart vide G.O (Rt) No. 198/96/F&PD Dated. 06-06-1996.

State Government departments - Rs. 1000 per copy
Public Sector undertaking and others - Rs. 1500 per copy
